The Program offers athletes unlimited care from certified Athletic Therapists & Nurse Practitioners

OVERVIEW

Purpose of the program (click to open)

Provide teams, athletes and their families better access to Athletic Therapy care for common sports injuries.

Athletic Therapist (AT) can treat most muscle and joint injuries related to sport. AT can also provide support for identifying concussions and support imaging (x-ray) requisitions.
Care Options (click to open)

Injury Assessment: Your athlete can book a virtual assessment with an Athletic Therapist as soon as an injury happens. This can be done from a computer or phone.

Follow ups + Check-ins: After you have been assessed and your care plan has started, you can book one-on-one followups or send video "check-ins" to update your AT on your rehab status.

Emergency Hotline: If you are concerned or suspect that your athlete has a possible fracture or concussion, you can call the emergency hotline. A therapist will assist with assessing the issues and providing options.

Imaging Requests (X-Ray)

To save athlete families time and worry, one of our Nurse Practitioners can issue an imaging requisition. This will allow you to visit a walk-in imaging clinic and have x-rays performed on the affected area.

This also saves time from the long waits associated with an ER visit.

Some ER wait times can exceed 8 hours before results are provided.
